WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO BE APART OF “VIBESOCIETY”?

Being part of VIBESOCIETY means to be apart of a group of women who have just as much or more passion as me. It allows me to be apart of something that has so much growth and potential behind it with the power to becomes better queens.

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND IN DANCE?

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old. I started doing ballet, tap, jazz, Hip Hop and lyrical/ contemporary. With my first dance company I had the opportunity to go to Florida and dance in Disney World also in Disneyland. Although I have to say my favorite place to have traveled to for dance would be New York City, where i got to perform in front of the Statue of Liberty as well as take classes from the dance choreographer of the Broadways show Wicked. I also did competitive dancing for about 2 years which allowed me to train for performances. I continued to dance till I was 18 then took a break and now I’m 21 back into dancing.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS IN THE FUTURE?

The future can be so unpredictable, but all I know is I’m going to be successful with any path I decide to take. I strive to continue chasing my dreams with dance and to become a dance teacher. At the end of this year I will graduate with my AA & AS Degree which will give me the opportunity to create a career and join Ultrasound technician School when I’m ready.

WHATS YOUR FAVORITE GENRE OF DANCE TO LEARN AND / OR TEACH?

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Ballet, only because of the power and strength behind a ballerina is simply astonishing.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN ONE WORD AND WHY.

If I could describe myself in one word it would HUMBLE. I’ve been through hell and back to get where I am today and the blessings that have been brought my way only remind me to appreciate my struggle .
