1. What does it mean for you to be apart of “vibe-society”?

Being part of vibe-society means being apart of something bigger than myself. Having the opportunity to train and learn from such a diverse group of women is so rare but yet is also needed in some many avenues!

2. What are your goals in the future?

My goals for the future are to never stop training and continue to impact and inspire as many individuals as I can.

3. What’s your favorite genre of dance to learn and/ or teach?

I have a soft spot for ballet as that is what I trained in for many years. The discipline and technique that it requires is masked but such beautiful lines and movement that it seems effortless even when it’s the hardest thing you’ve physically have ever done.

4. What is your background in dance?

I have been dancing since I was a toddler training in various styles of dance from ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, to Horton. I danced pre professionally at Oakland School for the Arts throughout my youth and danced professionally with Savage Jazz Dance Company for 2 years before retiring with an injury. Seven years later I am back to training in a whole new style of dance to me, Heels!5. Describe yourself in one word and why?

Dedicated, because I know and recognize the time and effort it takes to be great at something and it doesn’t scare me if anything it makes me hungrier!
